Guides
Untitled Boxing Game beginner guides: controls on PC, mobile and Xbox, how to land perfect dodges, stamina management and the fastest route out of Bronze ranked.
Introduction
Guides are where most UBG players should start, because the game explains very little of itself and almost every early loss comes from a mechanical misunderstanding rather than a bad style pull. This section covers the control scheme on PC, mobile and Xbox, the spacing rules behind light and heavy punches, how to practise perfect dodging on purpose, and the stamina habits that separate a Bronze lifer from a Gold climber. Each guide is written for a specific moment in the learning curve: your first ten minutes, your first ranked match, your first losing streak, and the point where you start choosing which styles to invest spins in. Nothing here assumes you have already pulled a Legendary, and every recommendation is checked against how the game actually plays in the current Deimos-era build rather than how it worked a year ago.

Core Mechanics
The UBG learning loop is unusually short: a fight lasts three rounds, a round often ends on one mistake, and the feedback arrives within seconds. That is good for practice and brutal for bad habits, because a player who blocks from an empty stamina bar will keep losing to the same punish no matter how many styles they own. The guides here therefore prioritise mechanics over rosters. You will learn the input layer first, then the spacing layer, then the read layer, which is the order the game itself teaches through its difficulty curve. On top of that sits a resource layer: Cash funds spins, spins feed the pity counter, and crates compete for the same Cash with much worse expected value. Understanding that ordering is what stops a beginner from converting every session into cosmetics and no climb. Every guide is written against the current build, so numbers like the 2,000 Cash spin price or the two-second stamina break still hold.
Advantages
The biggest advantage of learning UBG through guides rather than trial and error is time. The control scheme is small enough to memorise in one session, and the mechanics are consistent between styles, so an hour spent on perfect dodging pays off in every future match regardless of what you pull from the machine. UBG also rewards preparation in a way that is rare in Roblox fighters: because rating decides your opponent rather than a fixed bracket, a player who fixes one bad habit can see the ladder move within a day. On top of that, the guide tracks map onto the economy, so you learn when to stop spending Cash on crates and start protecting your pity counter. For returning players the update history doubles as a changelog, which means a break of several months costs you a reading session rather than a lost account of progress.
Challenges
The honest limitation of any UBG guide is that the game changes underneath it. Styles get rebalanced, the developer quietly swaps codes out of the official page, and community tier lists disagree with each other for weeks after a release. Ranked V2 is announced but undated, which means anything written about the current reward structure carries a visible expiry date. Guides also cannot fix the two things that decide most matches: your reaction time and your connection. A player on a high-latency connection will lose perfect dodge windows that look clean on video. Finally, no guide replaces ring time. Reading about stamina discipline and actually keeping your bar above a quarter are different skills, and the second one only arrives through repetition. Treat every page here as a map of what to practise, not a substitute for the practice itself.

Quick Tips
Practise perfect dodging in casual rings before you take it into ranked, because a failed dodge in ranked costs rating while the same mistake in a casual lobby costs nothing. Set yourself a target of ten deliberate dodges per match and count them rather than watching the health bar. Casual rings are the right place for that practice because a failed dodge there costs you nothing beyond the round itself.
Watch your stamina bar more than your opponent's health bar. Attacking at zero stamina breaks you for roughly two seconds, which is longer than most combos in the game, and nearly every early knockout happens because someone threw a heavy punch on an empty bar. The break lasts long enough that an opponent can walk in and land a full heavy punch without taking any risk at all.
Do not open crates until you have a Legendary style you are happy with. Crates cost 3,000 Cash for cosmetics while a spin costs 2,000 Cash and advances your pity counter, so early Cash spent on crates delays the guaranteed Legendary by several sessions. Crates are the only major purchase in UBG that does not move your spin guarantee forward even slightly.
